Project Overview

Healing Island is a beloved brand with a lot of brand equity. The wellness products on offer are handcrafted – by marginalized women, using zero chemicals – it’s a brand you can’t help falling in love with! But despite its allure, the brand was struggling with its ecom sales. I embraced the challenge of creating a sales-optimized site, with the added challenge of designing a simplified, easy-to-use CMS to update product information that can be used by anyone with minimal training.

I also made sure that the site is easy to navigate, with minimal clicks leading to a sale, had all product information available and of course, was search engine optimized. We had a few test runs to ensure site speed and optimization (with over 100 products) and voila! A conversion-focused, easy-to-use site for a wonderful brand. We also sat down for a strategy session on how to drive sales online and established a plan to use social media and offsite SEO to drive web traffic. I rounded up the project by setting up the Facebook and Instagram stores, and with a strategic plan on reaching sales numbers. As of today, Healing Island is doing great with a fantastic conversion rate.
